An exhibition and play area for 4 to 8 year olds

The Cité de l'espace entrusted us with the graphic design of their new exhibition space dedicated to children aged 4 to 8. This 350 m² space extends over two levels: on the ground floor the world of rockets and upstairs that of the astronauts, with colors of their own to distinguish them. With a particular museographic constraint: the public being young (non-readers and first-time readers), the information is essentially visual. Parents have cards at their disposal to allow them to answer their children's questions. As many elements as possible are designed to be immersive and fun: a giant rocket whose tanks are filled before settling in the fairing, and which it goes into space... another rocket to assemble on its launch pad... a space station that you enter to be disoriented...

The shapes take up the principles of permanent exhibitions: superimposition of layers and shades of colour. This principle is expressed through round, soft shapes, like nebulae or stellar objects.

With a young audience, the palette is lively, fruity, attractive, playful.
Each of the two spaces has its own colors in order to differentiate them, as well as colors
in order to connect them.
